ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Our life is shaped by our mind, we become what we think. The limbic system is a group of interconnected structures located deep within the brain that’s responsible for behavioural and emotional responses. We can create and destroy things with our mind. Being confined to our homes for the majority of 2020 with no outside social interactions was tough and for some of us, at times, we questioned “Where is my mind?”

ABOUT THE ARTIST

I am an abstract expressionist artist who is inspired by life experiences. By using a broad spectrum of media and techniques I explore my internal language using colour and expressive markings to connect and communicate.

My artwork serves as an outlet for my never-ending internal chatter, a way for my thoughts to become physical.
