Featured Artist of The Week: Nicole Di Fabio!
"I use art as a means of exploration, challenge, discovery, and reflection. These things can manifest in different ways during the process of painting, perhaps through the subject, the attempt at creation, or the examination of myself based on the outcome of a piece. I paint humans and food, as both are ubiquitous but complex. I want my paintings to resonate based on the fact that everyone experiences human interaction and nourishment, although behind each simple body, shape, or piece of food lies an emotional encounter, even if not immediately detectable."
