- Fades out over time.
- Light rubber-based Damar varnish, dries quickly.
- To rectify the embedments, revive the tones or go back to working in oil on a dry background.
- It favors a good hook between the pictorial layers.
- Also used as a varnish for temporary paintings.
- Thinners: petroleum essences and Turpentine.
