Framed: 76cm x 106cm
This dramatic monochromatic seascape showcases Foord's masterful command of light and atmosphere. The artwork captures a celestial breakthrough rendered in luminous whites, deep blacks, and touches of gold, with divine rays piercing through stormy clouds to illuminate the turbulent waves below.
Drawing from his fascination with outer space and exploration, Foord's distinctive style is evident in his fluid handling of paint and understanding of natural phenomena. Each dynamic stroke contributes to the painting's sense of emerging possibility, creating a piece that perfectly captures the promise of dawn through his characteristic emphasis on light and shadow.
