Craig John Foord (b. 1986, Brighton) brings a unique perspective to contemporary art by combining his experience as a tree surgeon with his artistic practice. After completing his National Diploma in Art and Design at Eastbourne College, Foord developed a distinctive approach to sculpture, uniquely employing chainsaw techniques to shape resin works before refining them to elemental perfection.
His artistic vision spans both sculpture and painting, with recent work exploring abstract themes inspired by his fascination with outer space and planetary exploration. This dual mastery of three-dimensional and two-dimensional mediums showcases his versatility and innovative approach to contemporary art.
