A colourful and childlike interpretation of the modern day condensed into a petri dish. This artwork uses symbols of plastic bottles, fish, and cows to represent mass consumption, climate change and agriculture.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Zoë Mills is a British based artist who seeks to highlight the negative effect humanity has had on the planet through painting. Focusing essentially on painting optimistic, fun paintings that focus on underlying environmental problems in society. Zoë paints scenes using animals or litter to call attention to the weight of climate change, capitalism and the contemporary world.
