I wanted to imagine my thoughts like little red men. Running around back and forth in the mase of my head. Not knowing which way is forward, some of them make it into my consciousness.
I am an ink drawing and printmaking artist who makes contemporary figurative art playfully and abstractly. As a former dancer, I am influenced and inspired by flowing movement and music. The lines in my drawings are like rehearsing a choreography over and over again until it leaves your conscious thought and becomes a part of your body. Like threads when weaving a web, together they make the artwork come alive.
