Found objects pressed into house paint and plaster in petri dish
The petri dish is filled with a plaster-based ground, into which objects have been embedded, reminiscent of how I found them, pressed and immersed in land. I am reimagining their position, from being a part of a sedimentary landscape infused with the layers of time and history and pressurising them into a new environment. There is a play and friction between the natural and the un- natural.
