The muddy brown colours used for the water of the Three Indus River Dolphins was painted to convey the bleak and murky underwater conditions the Indus River dolphin inhabits. The three dolphins were composed to appear as if in a confined space to reflect the narrowing habitat the dolphins inhabit.
Samantha. K. Taylor is an artist from Penketh, Cheshire, who recently completed the BA (Hons) Degree in Fine Art and Painting qualification at University Centre St Helens. Taylor considers herself to be a landscape painter, inspired by the natural world's importance and beauty. She prefers working with oil paint; however, she has occasionally opted to use acrylic to speed up the drying time. Her work has been shown in the World of Glass Museum in St Helens and The Wonky Garden in Widnes a community garden that collaborates art and nature.@s.k.taylor_art
