Weeping may endure for a night by Jude Caisley
Coffee and acrylic paint
19x19cm
My paintings are an abstract expression based on a line from Psalm 30, which says:“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” The first image in coffee tones and acrylic on paper depicts the first part of the quotation which represents a time of difficulty, loss, and pain, which all can experience as part of our human condition.

My expressive abstract paintings are primarily about releasing and reflecting my inner world through the vehicle of colour and movement, whilst in awe of the Master Creator. Working mainly in acrylics, I combines bold and textured gestural marks with areas of subtle blending and intricate detail. At first I paint quickly and spontaneously, responding to music, and then in a much slower contemplative way as I search for the hidden beauty, meaning and depth behind each piece. My hope is to always captivate, uplift and inspire life to the viewer.
